STRAW India conducted two humane education programs called "Compassionate Neighborhood" for the children residing at the Golden Palms, Sector 128, Noida. the topic was "Keeping Safe and Recognizing Body Language of Dogs." This program was conducted in association with the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of the group of Apartments.

Our Co-Founder, Ms Vasanthi Kumar was invited to speak at the India for Animals Conference (IFA) 2022, which is an extension of FIAPO’s work to strengthen the animal protection movement in the country. India for Animals 2022 was a virtual conference, held on 29 & 30th January 2022 with an estimated participation of 1,000 people whose hearts beat for animals.

The All India Radio (Akashvani_AIR), on the occasion of Animal Welfare Fortnight (14.01.2022 to 31.01.2022), conducted a panel discussion which was broadcasted on their national broadcast program, "Space for All Creatures Great and Small." The panelists included three organizations, STRAW India, All Creatures Great and Small and Woof Yums.

On 1st October 2020, STRAW was invited by SCANOVA (https://scanova.io/) to do a webinar which was part of their monthly "Learning and Development" session. STRAW India created a beautiful and calming virtual event for Team SCANOVA on the topic, "Bridging the Gap Between Animals and Humans." During this webinar, definitely one aspect came right through and that is - there is one language that both animals and humans have in common and that is the language of LOVE.

It was a splendid session along with a wonderful group of about 65 very enthusiastic 5-year old children. It included an online DIY workshop where the children learnt to make a bed for the strays
