Compassionate Classrooms at PALWAL Village Schools

Sep 17, 2019 @ 10:00 AM - Sep 19, 2019 @ 11:00 AM Government Schools, Villages of Karna, Aurangabad and Kuslipur in Palwal, HARYANA

Thank you Jyoti Sorout, for enthusiastically taking the initiative and successfully conducting three workshops in a row this week in Government Schools in the villages of Karna, Aurangabad and Kuslipur, Palwal, Haryana. About a hundred students of classes 4 & 5 were made aware of the need for animals to live freely and not inside cages or in chains. They were also sensitized about not keeping birds in cages so that they could flutter their wings and fly around freely in the skies.

All of us at STRAW are really proud of your work, Jyoti. We are particularly happy about these workshops since this is the first time that STRAW has conducted humane education workshops in village schools.

We wish you all the very best.
