You Can Be a Santa Claus for the Animals!
On 21st December 2020, STRAW conducted a workshop for children at the Yellow Streets NGO about fulfilling the wishes of animals around us during Christmas. The bright and enthusiastic children, ranging from 3 to 15 years of age from Yellow Streets NGO at Kalindi Kunj, spoke about their favourite animal memories on a warm wintry morning
They had a fun filled time with STRAW as they shared how they had taken care of the animals in their neighbourhood and what they would bring as Santa Claus to their animal buddies.
Some would bring green chillies for the parrots, warm clothes for the dogs, carrots for the rabbits and so on. While some children made drawings of their gifts for the animals, others wrote about it. The best part of it was that they all pledged to look after the animals around them.
