Celebrating World Rat Day - April 4, 2022

Apr 05, 2022 @ 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Deepalaya Library, Okhla, New Delhi

How fascinating can the world of rats be?

The children from Deepalaya Library, Okhla deep dived into the curious yet mischievous world of rats and learned about how humans could humans could could avoid rats into their homes by keeping them clean and thereby not hurt them and how they could co-exist, of course without becoming a nuisance to each other. This was done through reading activities, dramatics, storytelling and watching the Walt Disney movie, Ratatouille.

The World Rat Day is celebrated on the 4th of April every year. Children are taught how to keep things clean so that rats do not visit their houses and therefore they do not have to kill them.

About 30 children attended our session and they enjoyed it just as much as we enjoyed hosting it for them.
