Stories of Kindness - Guppy, The Fish

Jun 22, 2024 @ 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM ONLINE

We started our online series Stories of Kindness in August with a story titled "Guppy the Fish." In this session, children learned about the lives of fish and why they should not be kept in small aquariums as pets. The story emphasized that fish, like all animals, have feelings and prefer to stay with their families in their natural environment.

The series has been a wonderful tool to help children develop empathy for fish, encouraging them to think about the well-being of creatures often overlooked. Through Guppy's story, children gained a deeper understanding of how they can make compassionate choices.
