The Stories of Kindness session, attended by 32 children, took them on an exciting journey with Chippy the Squirrel in her quest for the glowing Friendship Nut. Through captivating storytelling, the children learned valuable lessons about caring for squirrels and being kind to animals. The session was filled with enthusiasm, and the children eagerly participated, making it a truly interactive experience. Their love for the story and the characters was evident as they asked questions and shared their thoughts.
The children learnt to care for baby squirrels if they have fallen off of their nest. They also learnt about attracting squirrels to their window sill by offering them peanuts, seeds and fruits.
The session successfully fostered empathy and compassion for small creatures like squirrels, in a fun and engaging way.
