We were invited by Indic International School, Hyderabad, to participate in their Indi Bazar, a vibrant event where students set up stalls for parents. As part of this initiative, we were requested to bring animals from local shelters so that the children could spend time with them.
The 'Breath Shelter' brought their rescued puppies, handicapped dogs and baby goats to the featival where children were able to touch and feel these animals.
The goal was to foster empathy by allowing the kids to connect with these animals on a deeper level, helping them see them not just as pets but as sentient beings with emotions. By creating this meaningful interaction, we hope to inspire in children, a lifelong sense of compassion and responsibility, toward animals.
