In our latest Stories of Kindness session on November 9th, 55 children were immersed in the beautiful world of peacocks, learning how vital their feathers are—not just for beauty, but for survival too. Moved by the story of Flynn the Peacock, the children pledged to never buy fans or products made from peacock feathers.
They also learned about the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972, which prohibits hunting, feather-plucking, or poaching of India’s national bird, the peacock.
Together, we explored themes of friendship, kindness, and compassion, discovering how each of us can make a difference.
