Our Compassionate Classroom, with nearly 100 students from Grades 1 to 5, has become a lively space of learning and reflection. Through stories and conversations, the children connected deeply with what empathy looks like in everyday life.
They shared how they help animals in their neighbourhood, asked thoughtful questions, and related quickly to the idea that kindness is not limited to one species. Watching even the quietest learners open up was a highlight.
When asked why we should not harm animals, one child said, "Animals have the right to live just like we do." It was a beautiful reminder that awareness is often all children need for compassion to take root.
Our heartfelt thanks to the principal and staff for hosting us and nurturing a love for animals in their students.
