We were invited to conduct STRAW India’s Compassionate Classroom session at Meridian School for their 6th to 8th graders, where students engaged in meaningful conversations around kindness, safety, and responsibility towards animals.
During the session, students learned about the plight of street dogs, the importance of vaccination and safe, compassionate ways to help and co-exist with dogs. The discussion also introduced animal protection laws, helping students understand that caring for animals is both a moral and legal responsibility.
We extend our sincere thanks to Sharpener for their partnership and to Meridian School for their warm hospitality and commitment to nurturing empathy in young learners.
