We were invited to conduct our Compassionate Classroom at DAV Ispat Public School, and it turned into a truly heartwarming experience. The session focused on understanding, respecting, and caring for the animals we share our spaces with, especially community dogs. Students from Grades 6th and 7th actively participated, learning about empathy, compassion, and peaceful coexistence.
By the end of the workshop, students had thoughtful questions about how they could help sick and injured animals. Some shared that they already keep water bowls and extra food out for animals, and one girl even expressed her wish to donate from her pocket money to support animals in need of treatment.
Moments like these remind us how naturally kindness shows up when children are given the chance to care.
A heartfelt thank you to the school staff for their warm hospitality and to @hai for their constant support.
