We were hosted by Bharat Bal Niketan Higher Secondary School, Bhopal (Classes 1–6) and GPS, Film Nagar, Hyderabad (Classes 1–5) to conduct our Compassionate Classroom workshop, designed to nurture kindness, empathy, and respect for every living being. Through interactive discussions and stories, students learned how to co-exist safely and responsibly with community dogs, and were sensitized to the suffering faced by animals used for rides. Many children expressed willingness to help dogs, and even pledged not to take animal rides in the future.
They also learned about the dangers of Chinese Manjha through a practical demonstration, understanding how it causes serious injuries and loss of life among birds and other animals.
