STRAW India was invited to conduct its Compassionate Beginnings workshop at Little Millennium School, Rohit Nagar, Bhopal, for the Kindergarten students, and the energy in the room was pure joy.
Through stories and role-plays, the children discovered what everyday kindness towards animals means, learned about the role of a veterinarian, understood why harming animals is wrong, and explored how they can respond with love and care in real-life situations.
This session also aligned with SDG 15 – Life on Land, nurturing respect for animals and ecosystems right from early childhood, in harmony with the school’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.
