As Grade 3 students at St. Albert’s School learn about community animals, our Compassionate Classroom workshop added empathy and real-life context to what they are already exploring in the classroom.
The teachforindia.hyderabad fellows leading these Grade 3 classrooms invited us to explore this topic further with their students. We discussed the lives of community dogs, their everyday struggles, and simple ways children can help them while keeping themselves safe. Students also learned to understand a dog’s body language.
We are grateful to the teachers and school leadership, who helped make this session possible, and we thank helpanimalsindia for their continued support in nurturing compassion from an early age.
Together, we are creating a Compassionate World for Animals, One Child at a Time.
