Stories of Kindness: Hoot's that owl!

Jan 24, 2026 @ 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM ONLINE- MS TEAMS

Through a gentle story of a quiet child and a misunderstood owl, students explored how bullying hurts, how superstitions around owls are born.

As the owl’s story unfolded, children began to see its reflection in their own experience. Just like owls are often feared or mocked because they are silent and different, some children are misunderstood because they think, speak, or express themselves in their own way.

The session encouraged empathy towards special children and neurodiversity, showing that differences are not flaws. By unpacking myths and silence, it highlighted how understanding can heal animals and humans alike.

By the end of the session, our classrooms chose compassion over labels.
