What does it take to build a more compassionate world for animals?
Sometimes, it begins with a conversation.
On National Pet Day, STRAW India, in collaboration with MARS India (Petcare), conducted a #CompassionateClassroom workshop at Kunskapsskolan International School, Gurugram, engaging around 125 students of class 5, in discussions around pet adoption, pet nutrition and caring for community animals.
The highlight was the water bowl painting activity, where students expressed their creativity for a cause - to take responsibility to put out water for community animals during the hot summer months. They also promised not just to place these bowls of water, but to continue maintaining them throughout the summer.
Because we believe, when children learn, communities change. 💛
