This weekend, STRAW India conducted two Compassionate Neighbourhood workshops in collaboration with Kadam Foundation, an organization working for the welfare and education of underprivileged children and women.
The sessions were conducted for underprivileged children and focused on how community animals struggle during extreme summer heat. They learned simple ways to support them, from providing food and water to creating safer surroundings.
Taking this learning forward, students also stepped out to put reflective collars on community dogs, an important step in preventing road accidents.
