Our Web of Life activity at The Barnyard, in collaboration with Project Venkydoggos from Sri Venkateswara College, turned into a deeply engaging and interactive session, far beyond what we had expected.
Through a simple, hands-on activity using threads and visual cues, participants explored how every element of nature is interconnected. We talked about how even the tiniest creatures like earthworms, bees, and butterflies play an essential role in maintaining the balance in our ecosystem.
We also discussed the impact of imbalance in humans and other elements of Nature. As the web expanded, so did their understanding of how even the most “overlooked” parts of nature play a crucial role in maintaining balance.
By the end, their expressions said it all, a quiet shift in perspective and a deeper appreciation for the often-ignored links of our ecosystem.
We’re grateful to the barnyard india for creating a space where learning feels immersive, reflective, and meaningful.
