We spent time in a neighbourhood with students talking about how to stay safe, kind, and respectful around community dogs, while also discussing how tough extreme heat can be for animals.
Taking this learning forward, students created simple bird houses and feeders using old plastic bottles and cardboard boxes. All the materials were recycled.
It was heartwarming to see such thoughtful and creative efforts, with each piece reflecting care and empathy.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Azim Premji Foundation for this opportunity.
