Getting Over the Fear of Dogs

Aug 16, 2018 - Aug 31, 2018 Seventh Day Adventist School, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, INDIA

Besides being sensitized about being kind to animals, compassionate to people and to respect the environment, STRAW exposed about 150 students from Classes I to V to a three-legged dog named Junior who had lost one of his legs during a road accident.

"Junior" is a docile and well behaved dog who was kind enough to allow students to touch him. Though the students were very scared to begin with, within a few minutes, they volunteered and came forward to touch the dog. I am sure this incident will go a long way in they getting over their fear of dogs.
