Today’s Compassionate Neighborhood session at Sahara Saksharta, Bhopal radiated warmth, curiosity, and heartfelt connection towards animals.
Forty students from Classes 5 to 9 came together to explore empathy, kindness, and animal welfare with a special focus on our beloved community dogs.
What made the session truly memorable was the active participation of 10 guardians, who joined their children in sharing personal stories and experiences of interacting with street dogs in their neighborhoods.
These moving exchanges deepened the group’s understanding of the challenges and beauty of coexistence, reminding us all that compassion begins at home and grows stronger when shared in classrooms and among friends.
Through lively discussions and reflective activities, students and guardians together explored how small acts of care can create ripple effects in building a more compassionate world for animals.
