We introduced the children to animal welfare in India, hoping to gently guide them toward making the connection.
To our surprise, they quickly understood and sparked a thoughtful conversation about calves being separated from their mothers and denied their share of milk, something they had witnessed in their neighborhoods.
We wrapped up the session with a fun, creative drawing activity.
