Over two deeply meaningful sessions in Bhopal and Hyderabad, STRAW India had the privilege of engaging with young minds who listened, questioned, and connected in ways that truly moved us.
At Ananda Marg School, Bhopal, students from Classes 7, 9, 11, and 12 were invited to pause and reflect on what it truly means to show empathy, not just to animals, but to every life we often overlook. What started as an awareness session blossomed into an emotional journey of deep listening, honest questions, and heartfelt realizations. Kindness, here, wasn’t just discussed; it was deeply felt.
At Cambridge Public School, Hyderabad, the conversation continued with younger students learning about dog body language, safe interactions, and recognizing animals as sentient beings worthy of care and respect.
Their eager questions and thoughtful reflections reminded us how powerful these early conversations can be in shaping lifelong values.
