We were warmly hosted by Royal Kids Academy, Bhopal, for a day dedicated to kindness and learning. STRAW India conducted a Compassionate Classroom workshop for the school’s primary students, helping them discover how animals share our spaces, our streets, and even our daily lives and why they deserve our care and respect.
Through stories, questions, and fun activities, the children learned why it’s important not to disturb or harm animals, and how small acts of care can make a big difference in their neighbourhoods.
The highlight of the day? The school’s principal, an animal rescuer herself, actively encourages her students to grow up respecting and protecting all living beings. With educational leaders like her, we know these children will grow into kind, compassionate citizens who make the world better for every life they share it with.
