STRAW India was invited to Saraswati Shishu Mandir to conduct a special workshop for students of Classes 5 to 7. The school had specifically requested sessions on the challenges faced by community animals and understanding canine body language, helping students learn how humans and dogs can co-exist in harmony.
Through interactive discussions, students also reflected on the cruelty animals often face and admitted that they would not remain indifferent anymore, but instead choose to act with kindness and responsibility.
The session became an engaging exchange where children eagerly shared their thoughts, asked questions, and discovered new ways to coexist with animals.
The Principal appreciated and acknowledged the workshop as informative and meaningful, highlighting its role in shaping empathy and compassion in young learners.
