STRAW India was invited by the Karuna Club of Maharani Lakshmi Bai Girls PG College, Bhopal, to conduct a special workshop on Do’s & Don’ts with Community Dogs.
The session shed light on the struggles of street dogs, the realities of the breeding industry, and possible solutions to address these issues. We also shared practical guidance on how to stay safe and supportive around community dogs whether in high-traffic areas, during celebrations, or in sensitive times like their mating season.
Students shared their perspectives with curiosity, thoughtful questions, and active participation, which made the session truly interactive and impactful. What made the workshop even more meaningful was the encouragement from the Principal & the faculty members, who not only supported the dialogue but also motivated students to step forward as responsible citizens.
Together, we explored how small, everyday actions can build a kinder and safer world for community dogs.It was an inspiring day filled with empathy, awareness, and the true spirit of coexistence.
We're grateful to Help Animals India for their continuous support in our journey.
