We were honoured to be invited once again by Indus International School, Hyderabad, to conduct our Compassionate Classroom workshop for their fifth-grade learners.
Rooted in the IB spirit of inquiry and reflection, the session encouraged students to think critically about how humans and animals share spaces and responsibilities. Together, we explored what it truly means to live in harmony with community animals.
Students reflected deeply, shared personal experiences of caring for stray dogs with their families, and learned how empathy can guide everyday choices. The workshop concluded with each child taking a pledge to choose compassion over cruelty and ignorance.
We’re grateful for the school’s continued trust and for the learners’ openness, curiosity, and compassion that made the session so meaningful.
