STRAW India was honoured to collaborate with Sreenidhi International School, Hyderabad, to facilitate our Compassionate Classroom workshop for their Middle Years Program (MYP) learners.
The session invited learners to critically explore humanity’s relationship with animals, examining the ethical, environmental, and social implications of human behaviour, and reflecting on their own role as responsible global citizens.
Through inquiry, dialogue, and creative expression, students engaged with real-world issues, demonstrating curiosity and empathy as they considered how small, mindful actions can create meaningful impact.
One reflective activity encouraged them to imagine life from an animal’s perspective, leading to profound conversations and authentic learning experiences for all. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Sreenidhi team for their hospitality and for providing a space that nurtures compassion, reflection, and action-oriented learning.
