We were invited by Abhigyan Vidya Mandir, Co-Ed School, Bhopal, to conduct our Compassionate Classroom workshop for students of Classes 6 to 10. Together, we explored the idea of sentience, the ability of all living beings to feel and experience, and reflected on how overlooking this truth often leads to animal suffering in everyday human activities.
One student shared, “We never noticed their pain before.” It was a moment of genuine realisation and empathy.
The 188 young minds we met were thoughtful, curious, and deeply moved. Each discussion brought a new pause, a spark of understanding, and a promise to act with kindness.
