On Janmashtami, our Stories of Kindness series featured the tale of an honest cow. This session focused on imparting the true meaning of honesty to children and highlighted practical ways they can care for cows in today’s world.
The children engaged actively with the story and demonstrated an understanding of how to extend compassion to cows roaming on the street. The children were taught to be more responsible when disposing plastic bags containing kitchen waste which the hungry street cows tend to eat thereby causing a lot of harm to their health.
The session aimed to instill values that promote kindness towards cows, making a positive impact beyond the festival.
