In this engaging story session for children, we dived into the fascinating lives of fish and explored why they thrive in their natural habitats. Through the fun-filled tale of Guppy, the fish, kids discovered why keeping fishes in small aquariums isn't the best choice for their well-being and how we can respect their need for space and freedom.

We conducted an enlightening session for children of Global Edge School, where they explored the daily struggles faced by street dogs in India, through stories and activities. By the end, the children proudly pledged to become animal ambassadors, committed to caring for and supporting community animals in their neighborhoods.

The children were deeply engaged in an eye-opening session about the street life of dogs, learning about their daily struggles and hardships. They put themselves in the paws 🐾 of dogs and truly felt their pain, which inspires them to take meaningful action. Each student vowed to help at least one animal in their neighborhood by providing food and water.

STRAW India is very proud to have conducted its first Compassionate Classroom Humane Education program at a school based in Hyderabad. The name of the school is Indic International School, Hyderabad and the title of the session was "How to Make Friends with Street Dogs." This session included learning the body language of dogs so that children could make friends with them and at the same time keep themselves safe from dog bites, etc.

In this fun and educational session for children, kids learned about the struggles stray dogs face during the hot summer months. Through engaging DIY activities like water bowl painting and interactive discussions, they developed a deeper awareness of how small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of these animals.

STRAW India organized a Compassionate Classroom Program and Workshop for about 30 children in the age group of 8 to 12 at the Deepalaya Community Library on January 31, 2024.  This interactive session emphasized on the significance of understanding the body language of community dogs, methods to care for them, and various ways to establish a healthy bond of love and companionship.
