"Where the Elephant Sleeps" is a documentary about the agony that elephants at the Amber Fort in Jaipur, INDIA, go through, day after day while trying to give a joy ride to tourists who come from far and wide. This screening is done by NSS-IITD in association with STRAW India.

Thirty one students from IIT Delhi visited Friendicoes Animal sanctuary, Gurgaon on Saturday the 18th of February for a one-on-one meeting with the resident dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, monkeys, rabbits and a few birds. Their interaction was one of warmth and friendliness - an excellent way to inculcate compassion for animals.

Nearly fifty children in the age group of 5 to 12 participated in a painting and drawing workshop at Sector B1, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi in July 2016. The most important thing they learnt is that animals feel as much pain as we do and hence we have to be kind and compassionate to them.
